Peloton, the pioneer in smart fitness equipment founded in 2012, completed its Initial Public Offering on September 26, 2019. The company priced its IPO at $29 per share, raising $1.2 billion at a market capitalization of over $8 billion.

As a private company, Peloton raised funds from Venture Capital investors totaling nearly $1 billion. These investors included TCV, Fidelity, L Catterton, True Ventures, Tiger Global Management, GGV Capital, Kleiner Perkins, G Squared, Franklin Templeton Investments, QuestMark Partners, and Wellington Management. Pelotons last private funding was in August 2018, when it raised $550 million in a Series F with a post-money valuation of over $4 billion.
