Snowflake, the cloud-based data-warehousing company, completed its Initial Public Offering in September 2020. The company priced its IPO at $120 per share, raising approximately $3.36 billion at a market capitalization of over $33 billion.

Founded in 2012, Snowflake raised approximately $1.4 billion during its time as a private company from Venture Capital investors including Dragoneer Investment Group, Salesforce Ventures, Human Capital, Meritech Capital Partners, Sequoia Capital, Capital One Ventures, ICONIQ Capital, Madrona Venture Group, Altimeter Capital Management, Redpoint Ventures, and Sutter Hill Ventures. Snowflake’s last private funding round was in February 2020, when it raised $479 million at a post-money valuation of $12.4 billion.
